3 explosive exercises to do with the Nike Flex Trainer 6
We have taken a closer look at five different women's training shoes from Nike. PT Jessica Clarén shows exercises tailored to each model. Which shoe is right for you?
The cushioned Nike Flex Trainer 6 is perfect for jumping! Renowned PT and Nike trainer Jessica Clarén demonstrates three tough, explosive exercises with the shoes.
Nike The Flex Trainer 6 is great to have on your feet when doing exercises that involve a lot of jumping. Challenge yourself with Jessica Clarén's explosive workout!
1. Squats with jumps
Remember: - To go as deep as you can while maintaining control. When you start to round your back, you have gone too deep. Push off when you jump up and land softly! Try to work on ankle and ankle mobility by keeping your toes pointed forward throughout the exercise.
Good for: Legs and buttocks in particular. You also train explosiveness and get a slight increase in heart rate.
Number of repetitions: Do as many as you can for 30-60 seconds x 3.
2. Skating jumps
Remember: - Challenge yourself with instability! It's okay to be a little wobbly when you first land on your leg. Be athletic and tighten your stomach so that you have an active torso throughout the movement. Also, try to keep an eye on the leg you land on so it doesn't fall outwards or inwards.
Good for: Legs and fitness primarily, but you're activating your whole body.
Number of repetitions: Do as many as you can for 30-60 seconds x 3.
3. Burpees with tuck jumps
Remember: - Keep your core strong throughout the exercise and don't fall through. When jumping, try to bring your knee and elbow together. If you think it is too heavy to do the same burpees as I do, you can go down in a plank and then do a push-up before doing a tuck jump, it makes it heavier for the arms," says Jessica Clarén.
Good for: This is a total body exercise that trains your explosiveness, flexibility and fitness. A real skin party!
Number of repetitions: Do as many as you can for 30 seconds x 3.

Are you a new fan of exercise and are in the process of finding your favorite training shoes, or do you exercise less often? Then you should take a closer look at Nike Flex Trainer 6. It can best be described as a simpler model of the Nike Free Tr 6.
- It's nicely cushioned so you can use it for jumping, but has a little less flexibility in the forefoot than Nike Free Tr 6 and Nike Free Transform Flyknit, says Stine Tomb, product specialist at Nike, and continues:
- This is a shoe for those who want a firmer sole with more flexibility than Lunar Sculpt, for example. The shoe also has a slightly firmer heel cup compared to the Free models, which makes it perfect for those who want more shoe on the foot.
What kind of training is Nike Flex Trainer 6 suitable for?
- It is a good gym shoe that is suitable for doing exercises at the gym. It is also cushioned enough to allow you to run lightly on the treadmill.
