5 fun couple exercises that challenge your core
Every workout is more fun with a friend - and you can push each other. Try these five new exercises with a friend!
1. Tug of war
Stand on the plank. Grab a rubber band and pull it between you. Change hands after 30 seconds. Expect your core to work hard!
2. Push-up on a ball
Stand on the plank. One of you puts one hand on a medicine ball.
The person with the hand on the ball does a push-up.Then roll the ball over to the other person who does the same. Do every other repetition with the right side and every other with the left.
3. Buddy sit-up
One of you stands up with slightly bent legs, the other jumps up and wraps their legs around the waist of the person standing up.
Lean back and do a sit-up. If it feels scary, the person standing up can hold the person doing the sit-up in their hands, preferably with their arms crossed.
4. Pair plank
One person stands in a plank - and the other stands in a plank on the person at the bottom. This is a fun exercise that is very like-friendly on Instagram!
5. Double pistol squat
Stand up and hold each other with the opposite hand. Lift one leg, go down in a single leg squat, or pistol squat as it is also called.
