Making your own bars
What do you do with hemp protein? Why not in tasty bars that provide natural power when the afternoon dip hits you.
Recipe: HolisticHemp bars with primal power
(4 bars)You need:
- 3 dl walnuts
- 5 fresh dates
- 2 tbsp hemp protein
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 2 tbsp beetroot powder
- 3 tbsp goji berries
- 2 tbsp mulberries
- 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 0.75 tsp salt
Blend walnuts into a fine flour in a food processor. Add the dates one by one while the food processor is spinning. Then add the other ingredients and mix again until the dough holds together. Press the dough into a rectangle-shaped square on a cutting board and place in the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes. Cut the dough into bar-shaped pieces. Storeras in the fridge or freezer in a tightly sealed box.
