Sneak peek at the new Adidas Pulseboost

It's almost here! We're talking, of course, about Adidas' new Pulseboost running shoe. Here's everything you need to know about the hyped-up launch.

Right now, there's a lot of hype surrounding Adidas ' biggest running news of 2019, but Sportamore has managed to sniff out some nice details about the Pulseboost running shoe. Product expert Stefan Rehn has let us get a sneak peek at the Boost family's newcomer. Much of it is recognizable from the popular Boost shoes already on the market, but much is also completely new.

- Pulseboost is a completely new type of running shoe designed for the new type of running that has emerged. We call them city runners because they run a lot in the city, including with Adidas' own running groups," says Stefan Rehn and continues:

- "The design is not at all reminiscent of a traditional running shoe. The young runners want something that stands out and looks a little different. The inspiration comes from the urban environment - imagine warning triangles and a city environment with lots of lights and signs.

As the name suggests, the Pulseboost HD is equipped with the Boost sole that we have already learned to love, but here it enters in an updated format. The question is whether we will recognize the acclaimed sole?

- Yes, absolutely you will recognize the nice cushioned feeling that Boost gives, it is a bit special and the very reason why we do not want to make something completelynew, Stefan Rehn promises.

Nevertheless, Pulseboost HD is almost innovative. You could say that it feels like elements of an indoor shoe in running shoe format. The sole is specifically designed for urban environments and can handle abrupt changes in direction and lateral movement.

- The Pulseboost HD will be a fundamentally stable shoe that is much firmer than the standard Boost sole. It will work pretty much for all types of runners, unless you are an extreme case in terms of pronation, for example.

Other exciting updates to the shoe include QR codes and a new upper. Everyone who wants to get even more into the details of the new running shoe will have to wait until it enters the range, but we can reveal one more thing right now. The sole is completely new!

- If you turn the shoe over, you will see that it is a completely new material. Our technicians have worked together with car tire manufacturers Continental's technicians. The result is a rubber sole that Adidas is very proud of.

Don't miss out on the shoe when it hits the stores on June 27, because there's a chance it will sell out immediately...
