Trendiest men's swim shorts for 2018

It's almost time for the beach premiere of the year! Bathing pot or not, here's the swimwear you can wear even when running errands around town.

Blossoming pansies, the blackbird's mournful song and running pollen nose are sure signs of spring, but the question is whether new, fresh swimwear isn't the surest sign of summer. What should men's swimwear look like this summer?

- They should be stylish through a combination of form, design and function. The swim trunks are the hub of a beach look and should be just as nice to wear bare-chested in the water as on land with a thin shirt or t-shirt, says Sebastian Carlsson at Frank Dandy.

Tell us a little more about the swimwear you have developed!

- For several years we have been working on developing the perfect swimwear. Above all, they need to fit well, even when wet, and not stick to the legs. Our mesh liner doesn't chafe the groin and the small slit on the St Paul shorts gives extra flexibility and freedom of movement," he says, adding:

- "Not seeing through a pair of swimming trunks as soon as they get wet seems like a given, but if you study the range more closely, not everyone seems to prioritize that. Then again, we think pockets on a pair of swim shorts are as stylish as they are practical. We always base our garments on form and function.

What were the ideas behind this year's swimwear collection?

- In this year's collection we have two new models where we have extended the leg length to a classic Bermuda model. Our immensely popular model St Paul is a given favorite with many for several years, and now they are also available with longer legs! Even our Breeze model now comes in a slightly longer expression. The swim trunks end just above the knee, which makes it easier to use them more dressy before and after the bath.
