The new Jackson is a super light All Mountain helmet where the focus is on offering strong design and innovative style along with function. The Passive Aggressive ventilation system is taken from the automotive industry and is inspired by aerodynamics to handle air flows and temperature, regardless of whether the practitioner rides, hikes or stands still. Jackson has a lightweight construction of In-Mold character and is equipped with Mips. This technology can reduce rotational force against the brain in case of falls. Mips can significantly increase safety and the documented effect is medically guaranteed. Thanks to the In-Form 2 Fit System, size and fit can be adjusted steplessly with high precision, in addition, vertical adjustment is also offered for optimizing the distance between helmet and goggles. With the help of Stack Ventilation, goggles are kept fog-free as heat and moisture from the area around the forehead are effectively ventilated away. MIPS® - Multi-directional Impact Protection System The helmet has integrated MIPS that protects the brain against the rotation that occurs in a crash. Rotational violence against the brain can cause the most serious brain damage. With MIPS, the outer part and inner part can slide relative to each other, reduce rotation and counteract damage to the head and brain. Tests and studies show that MIPS significantly reduces the force and reduces the risk of serious brain damage (the helmet should usually be replaced after an external impact, such as a bicycle accident).
