When children wear Reima BugProof socks, you no longer need to worry about insect bites or ticks in the forest. They are made from a material that repels insects while offering a comfortable fit at the same time.

The Reima BugProof finish contains a mildly scented insect repellent that protects against mosquitoes and ticks. The effect is based on lemongrass extract containing geraniol (a biocide). The fabric is treated with this extract, and the insect-repellent effect lasts for at least 50 washes. The mild citrus-like scent is pleasant for humans but repels mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects, allowing children to enjoy the outdoors without worry. Remember to protect exposed skin with a repellent lotion—our clothing only protects the skin it covers. Use repellents safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
