The boots feature an Affenzahn logo on the outside and a bird on the closure mechanism.

The Affenzahn boots are made from a lightweight material, and they have good padding around the opening. Inside, they are lined with textile and have a soft insole at the bottom. In the mid-layer, there is a practical Tex membrane that makes the boots waterproof while still allowing the feet to breathe. This keeps the feet warm and dry. The boots also have practical elastic laces across the instep that do not need to be tied.

Affenzahn boots are a barefoot model, which means they are designed to give the feet a much better sense of the ground they walk on. They have a natural design with no heel drop, and the sole is thin, very flexible, and molds to the child’s foot. With a barefoot model, the child gets the pleasant feeling of walking barefoot, while still enjoying the shoe’s protection from cold, dirt, small stones, and more. The outsole features a non-slip pattern that ensures a secure grip.
