3 quick exercises with Nike Free Tr 6
We have taken a closer look at five different women's training shoes from Nike. PT Jessica Clarén shows exercises that are tailor-made for each model. Which shoe is right for you?
Take advantage of the flexible sole of the Nike Free Tr 6! Do PT Jessica Clarén's three exercises that give your whole body a workout.
Nike Free Tr 6 is very versatile but comes into its own when you do exercises that require flexibility in the foot. Jessica Clarén is both a personal trainer and Nike master trainer and has put together three exercises that make your legs and core burn!
1. Side lunge with kettlebell
Remember: - Both feet should be in contact with the ground when you step out in the side lunge and actively press down the foot that remains in the middle. Be strong as you push off with the extended leg to return to the center. Keep your upper body straight so you don't fall forward or sideways, and tighten your stomach!
Good for: Legs, core and butt.
Number of repetitions: 8-12 per leg x 3.
2. Russian twist with kettlebell
Remember: - If you find it too heavy to keep your legs lifted, you can put your heels on the ground. Lean back with the same posture as when you stand up and don't sway or arch your back. Rotate at such a speed that you can do the exercise with quality.
Good for: The torso!
Number of repetitions: As many as you can do in 30-60 seconds x 3.
3. Runner's lunge
Remember: - Dare to cross your legs and challenge your body. Be stable in your knees and keep your upper body straight. If you haven't gotten exercise pain from the other exercises I've shown, you will get it from this one!
Good for: Legs, buttocks and torso.
Number of repetitions: As many as you can do in 30-60 seconds x 3.

Nike The Free models are many people's favorites when it comes to training shoes thanks to the flexible sole. On Nike Free Tr 6, Nike has further developed the sole to give you even greater freedom of movement. The sole is equipped with a three-star pattern that can expand and contract in all directions. This provides more flexibility and distributes the pressure from your body weight more evenly, making the shoe more stable.
- The pattern under the sole of the shoe allows it to move better and more naturally with the foot. "The feedback we have received from those who have tried it is that you have a better grip on the ground when you are standing on the plank, for example," says Stine Tomb, product specialist at Nike.
What makes Nike Free Tr 6 different from the previous model?
- "The previous model had its own inner shoe, but it's gone. Now the upper is more firm and the heel cup is more like the one in Lunar Sculpt so that it hugs the heel a little better. Free Tr 6 is built so that you get a little more stability to the sides and the flywire cables go diagonally across the foot. In this way, you get a nice and even pressure over the entire back of the foot, which gives a better stability and feeling around the foot.
What kind of training is Nike Free Tr 6 suitable for?
- It is perfect for those who want a shoe where you can do group training sessions where you, for example, do lunge steps and stand in the plank. It is definitely not a running shoe, but the sole is so flexible that you can use them to warm up or unwind on the treadmill. You can also use it at the gym and do light lifting in it.
