5 reasons to run Tjejmilen 2019

Are you keen to run the mile but find it hard to get out of the starting blocks? Read this and compete for tickets for you and your friend.

Everything will be more fun together, especially the things you're reluctant to do. If you're struggling to get into the swing of running the mile, we hope we can help you. Grab a friend and sign up for the biggest women's event of the year. Here are five reasons why you should run Tjejmilen in 2019.

#1: Challenge yourself

Running the mile is perhaps one of the most classic ways to challenge both your body and your mind. A mile is a grueling distance that requires both a good level of fitness and a heavy dose of stubbornness, but once you've completed the course, the feeling of self-fulfillment is wonderful. Tjejmilen is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself.

#2: Strength measurement

Are you one of the many who prefer to measure your results in numbers rather than just analyzing the experience itself? If so, you should sign up toTjejmilen with timekeeping. Timing is not a requirement, but for those who find it interesting, it can be a fun and challenging way to push yourself, especially if you have already run the mile several times. Comparing your new result with your previous one is the perfect way to measure your progress.

#3: One more chance to help

Run not only for yourself, but also for others. During the Girls' Mile, you can take the opportunity to give a little extra love and care to other girls around the world. By contributing an extra 50 SEK, you will help Plan International's fight to give vulnerable girls a chance for a better life. Feel yourself fly forward with a lighter conscience and a pink number tag!

#4. Scandinavia's biggest event for women

Tjejmilen is actually the largest women-only event in the Nordic region, a girl's party like no other where women join forces to run and sweat together. There is nothing that exudes as much girl power asTjejmilen does. 2019 is the 36th edition of the race - come sweat with us!

#5. Community

As if getting the chance to challenge yourself, measure your performance and help vulnerable girls wasn't enough, the biggest event for women in the Nordics is also a perfect opportunity for you and your friend to push each other on the trail. Everything is more fun when you do it together, so take the chance to run Tjejmilen with a friend!

Compete for tickets!
